Education & Experience

Education, Professional Work, Community Organization Leadership

I have a degree in chemistry from the University of Dayton and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University. Besides my role as Mayor, I serve on the Board of the Woodbury Area Chamber of Commerce, Woodbury Fire Benefit Association, Woodbury Economic Development Authority, Woodbury Housing & Redevelopment Authority, and the Woodbury Community Foundation and am a member of the Lions Club and Woodbury Heritage Society. I have worked professionally for more than 30 years in the field of water quality. I am an active listener, a great communicator, understand the big picture and deliver results.
Prior to my term as Mayor, I served on the Planning Commission, Parks and Recreation Commission (now known as the Parks and Natural Resources Commission), and a member of the 2040 Comprehensive Plan.
Volunteer Experience

Having lived here with my family for the past 18 years, I have acted in leadership positions in many volunteer organizations including Woodbury Youth Lacrosse, Woodbury and East Ridge Athletic Associations, PTA roles for several schools, booster clubs, coach of soccer and volleyball, and faith-based communities.
I love to connect with members of our community in the many ways our residents live out their lives in our wonderful Woodbury.
